Recently, the company announced a strategic investment of $2.5 million, or 9.9% of the shares, by New Gold, which operates the New Afton Mine in the area. Ximen Mining will drill on several targets in 2022 and will continue to advance preparations for production at the Kenville Gold Mine – this is primarily pending permitting. The company is well funded and should receive more attention following the investment by New Gold.
